The Holiday Sculpture Fund at the Whidbey Community Foundation is a gift to our community from renowned sculptor Georgia Gerber and her husband, Randy Hudson.

In their words:
We are excited to bring you our 24th annual Holiday Sculpture. This is the sixth year we have collaborated with Whidbey Community Foundation (WCF). Last season was our most successful to date, having raised over $45,000 from sculpture sales. To date, we have been able to provide grants totaling $100,000 from the Holiday Sculpture Fund held at WCF. We thank WCF for all they do. We also want to thank the Rob Schouten Gallery for helping us with distribution again this year.
What started out long ago as Christmas gifts for family and friends expanded into an annual fundraising effort in support of local social service organizations on Whidbey Island. The project has helped make a difference in the lives of many people — particularly children since our main focus has been providing for organizations that assist families during the holiday season
How to Order
Important: If you require shipping you need to contact Georgia and Randy separately from placing your order. See “Optional Shipping” below.
If you would like to become a collector, or add to your growing collection, your donation will be made to Whidbey Community Foundation. Georgia and Randy will work with WCF to decide where to direct the proceeds. The price for each sculpture is $250. The materials cost is $90 per sculpture, which means that $160 of your contribution for each sculpture is tax-deductible and will go to nonprofits.
Donors have the option to purchase this year’s pewter, the 2022 Loon with Chicks (2.25”H x 4”W x 3.2”D). Also available are the 2021 Penguin Pair (4”H x 2.6”W x 2.2”D), the 2020 Three French Hens (2.4”H x 4”W x 3”D), the 2019 Dashing Turtle (1.4″H x 3.6″W x 2.7″D), the 2018 Sheepish Rabbit (2.5″H x 2.75″W x 1.5″D), and the 2017 Settling Owl (2.75″H x 3.4″W x 3″ D). View our Holiday Sculpture Page for more detailed photos of each pewter.
You will receive an email confirmation which includes a statement for the IRS indicating what portion of your contribution is tax-deductible and instructions should you require shipping.

Our Traditional Request and Closing
We remind you of the spirit of this project — it is an effort to raise money for a number of important organizations such as South Whidbey Good Cheer and The Holiday House, who provide so much help and support to our neighbors in need. For this project to be meaningful, your contribution must be in addition to what you would have donated otherwise. We are happy to have you as a collector, but we urge you to continue your usual generous support of Whidbey charitable and service organizations. Thanks for your support of this project. As your collection grows and adds to your Holiday traditions, it’s nice to know we have all helped make this season a lot merrier for a good many of our neighbors.
Happy Holidays,
Randy Hudson and Georgia Gerber
