The Holiday Sculpture Fund at the Whidbey Community Foundation is a gift to our community from renowned sculptor Georgia Gerber and her husband, Randy Hudson.

In their words:

We are excited to bring you our 27^th annual Holiday Sculpture. This is the ninth year we have collaborated with Whidbey Community Foundation (WCF), and collectively we have raised over $270,000 from sculpture sales. We thank WCF for all they do. We also thank the Rob Schouten Gallery for helping us with distribution once again, Ben Cordsen for his skilled pewter casting, and especially all the generous collectors who have supported this effort over the years.
What started out long ago as Christmas gifts for family and friends expanded into an annual fundraising venture in support of local social service organizations on Whidbey Island. The project has helped make a difference in the lives of many people — particularly children since our main focus has been providing for organizations that assist families during the holiday season.

How to Order

Important:

If you prefer shipping, you need to add a “Flat Shipping Rate” to your shopping cart along with your sculpture order. That option is listed as the last item on the order page (Order Here). The flat rate is $10, regardless of the number of sculptures ordered. You will also need to contact Randy and Georgia with your shipping instructions or questions about shipping. A reminder about how to make arrangements for shipping will be on the email confirmation of your donation.

If you would like to become a collector, or add to your growing collection, you may purchase a sculpture through Whidbey Community Foundation. Georgia and Randy will work with WCF to decide where to direct proceed from the sculpture sales. The price for each sculpture is $250. The material cost varies per sculpture and your receipt will note the tax-deductible amount of your purchase which will go to local nonprofits.

Starting today you have the option to purchase the 2025 Wholly Cow (1.8”H x 4.8”W x 3”D) which will be available for pickup at the Rob Schouten Gallery starting Wednesday, November 25. Also available are the 2024 Otter with Towhee (2.5” H x 3.2”W x 2.5”D), the 2023 Cat Tales (3”H x 3.5”W x 2.5”D), the 2022 Loon with Chicks (2.25”H x 4”W x 3.2”D), the 2021 Penguin Pair (4”H x 2.6”W x 2.2”D), the 2020 Three French Hens (2.4”H x 4”W x 3”D), the 2019 Dashing Turtle (1.4″H x 3.6″W x 2.7″D), the 2018 Sheepish Rabbit (2.5″H x 2.75″W x 1.5″D), and the 2017 Settling Owl (2.75″H x 3.4″W x 3″ D).

You will receive an email confirmation which includes a statement for the IRS indicating what portion of your contribution is tax-deductible and instructions should you require shipping.

Pick up your Sculpture in Langley

Sculptures will be available for pick-up at the Rob Schouten Gallery in Langley. Gallery Hours are weekends 10am-5pm and weekdays 11am-4pm (closed Tuesdays). You can call the Gallery at (360) 222-3070. Bring a hard copy or digital image of your order confirmation. You can also donate by check at the Gallery.
