Whidbey Fundraiser for the Essential Needs Program

It has been over two years since the start of the pandemic, but the rising cost of goods, lack of affordable housing, and limited public transportation on the Island have led to many of our Whidbey neighbors struggling to afford even their basic needs. Goosefoot Community Fund (Goosefoot) and Whidbey Community Foundation (WCF) have partnered for a second year to raise funds for the Essential Needs Program with a mission to keep our Whidbey neighbors housed, keep them working, and help them through emergencies.

Whidbey Community Foundation Annual Grant Cycle Opens July 1st

Whidbey Community Foundation (WCF) is pleased to announce its fifth annual grant cycle will be opening on July 1. Any organization that operates with a charitable status or for a charitable purpose on Whidbey Island is eligible to apply for a grant. The organization does not need to have a headquarters or physical presence on Whidbey, so long as services are provided here.
